    Lyabi House Ensemble

    The cultural heart of old Bukhara with a pond, ancient trees, Kukeldash madrasah, khanaka and Nodir Divan Begi madrasah. This is one of the most atmospheric places for a first walk, evening photos and exploring the historical center of the city. The Lyabi House ensemble is formed around a reservoir and includes several monumental buildings of the XVI–XVII centuries.

    One of the main architectural symbols of Bukhara. The ensemble includes the Kalyan Minaret, the Kalyan Mosque and the Mir Arab Madrasah. Central Asian tourist sources describe Poi Kalyan as a key attraction in Bukhara; the Kalyan minaret was built in 1127 and reaches 46.5 m in height.
